Roel uses design language to arrive at his translations. Taking objects from the ordinary into the imagined-made-possible requires intense ideation and in-depth immersion. Often organic in form, Roel’s method includes deep listening conversation, collaborative brainstorming and sketching ideas, before removing himself from distraction to work the brief into form.
